@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@contrary to popular beliefs guys have a fragile ego, a rejection damges that equality of what we talk to guys about and what we actually do. look at guys with bald heads, small penises, short each one will in a comfort zone talk relaxed but when entering in a zone that alters the ego they get defensive of shy... women have so much control to allow a guy to get a drift. the day that a woman would drop her hanky to signifiy she open to converation with a specific man are gone women now have to learn how to give a sign maybe a smile and a short brief gaze in the guys eyes.
also some of us guys(much like women) think we are not all that and we are not vain ) and we dont stand a chance with a pretty female considering there are so many better looking guys out there.

Maybe it could be that guys are shy or maybe scared of a rejection. iT is supposed to be a more "equal" world nowdays so what is wrong with a girl asking the guy out.

the same reson some girls have tuouble asking guys out because some girls and guys are shy about it and don't want to be let down.

Well, this happens to me..I get butterflies when I want to go up to a beautiful girl and ask her out..it is kinda natural for some shy guys like me.

it depends on the girl, like, if i just meet a girl and i am extremely physically attracted i have no problem, but once i get to know a girl its harder, but once we are good friends its alot easier to tell her i like her
