I know VS sells satin duvets that match their satin sheets. You'll definitely need something because they can get a bit chilly. If you've never slept on satin before, you may want to reconsider. Perhaps some high thread count cotton. It doesn't sound sexy, I know, but trust me, if these sheets are going to see any action, machine washable will really be a plus. And good cotton is very silky. And it won't stick to stubble like satin. Sexy to me is not worrying about the sheets.
Better Homes puts out lots of great magazines to help you get some ideas. You'll find half a dozen just on romantic bedrooms at the drug store, book store, target, home depot, walmart, etc. Pay attention to the colors and patterns and just try to put your on spin on things. I love lots of fabric and mounds of pillows. I adore all white rooms but jewel tones are also beautiful. Neutrals don't scream sexy for me but to each their own. Good Luck!

When I redid my bedroom last year I wanted to give it a romantic look and a calming feel to it. I painted by walls light lavender (whimsey from Lowes) My curtains are lavender and pink trim. I also have a lavender scarf over the tops of them. My comforter is lavender and pink with a dark almost purple misquito netting hanging down. I have bunches of pillows and 300 count sheet sets (I don't like satin) I have my bed and amour in cherry wood with a cherry wood bench at the end of the bed with a pink throw on it. I have a overhead ceiling fan and a night stand light depending on what I am doing in there. I also have a shelf that holds calming CD's, a funky nightlight, and some "Healing garden lavender" body spray to spritz on my sheets.(you can choose your own fragrance) I consider that room heaven.

Try painting the bedroom a nice subdued gold color like Restoration Hardware's Saffron color paint. Buy gold satin sheets if you like. Use Black picture frames and lamp bases to give drama and contrast. Try to find a cream colored comforter with gold embroidery. Buy lots of satin pillows and embroidered throw pillows for the bed in cream, gold and black. Top it off with a vase of red silk roses for the night table or the dresser.

You can find all your answers in HGTV.com it's a great website from the tv show, If you want it sexy I guess you want it to appeal to a man too there's a show called designing for the sexes, usually couples that don't agree in their ideas. There's tons of others and all the steps even short videos, pictures and you can make a detailed search.
I suggest a mediterranean look,(e.g.Tuscan) it's warm, it can be romantic and sexy at the same time (romantic could be shabby chic, sexy could be metropolitan but you want both) if you're a little bolder I would choose a Midle Eastern look (e.g.Arabian)
If you are for it I would paint a mural according to the style you choose, "the painted house house" show with Debbie Travis has lots of ideas in the same site.
Good luck!

I don't know feng shui, but do know fabric. If you use satin sheets don't put another slippery fabric on it instead get or make a bedspread which is cotton on the underside and a luxurious fabric (like velvet, or a tapestry fabric) on top.
Fabrics that are "romantic" are satins, velvets, laces, and some tapestry fabrics.
Colours that are "romantic" are reds, deep purples, golds.

I painted my bedroom a chocolate milk kinda color with a slight violet hue. Looks great. My windows, doors, and comforter are all white to offset the darker walls. Many candles, a comfy oversized chair (if your room is big enoough), a dvd player and tv, extra pillows, and erotic art/statues/figurines should do the trick. Oh, and a wrought-iron head board would be good for some light bondage....i would imagine :-)

Rich colour is always romantic - I did an accent wall in red with gold sponging, then used a rich gold tone around the rest of the room. Red is considered very romantic, but you don't want to do the entire room in it because I promise you'll get a "glow of death" in there if you do. I've done it and it's not pleasant.
I went for dark blue egyptian cotton sheets because they're very comfortable but still rich looking - satin sheets get annoying really quickly, they always want to slide off the mattress and if you're in a warmer climate (like Texas) they can be quite uncomfortable to sleep on. Then I put a rich red-gold tapestry look comforter on top - you want to use rich fabrics, too. Velveteens, tapestries, microsuede - all these are very tactile and work well. Several (I use 5) pillows thrown up there. (There's nothing wrong with just putting nice shams on your bed pillows!)
My sister's gone a completely different route which might appeal to you, since you mentioned Feng Shui. She used a deep burgundy red around the bottom of the room, and sort of a monk's robe yellow around the top with black furniture and asian accents. She put rice-paper shades in the windows and has a screen hiding her closet entirely. She did get a book on Feng Shui that explained how to arrange things and it is a very pleasant room, she tried to explain it but it seemed like something I would not be able to do without the book in front of me. Her bedroom is very rich feeling asian fusion - but the effect is lighter somehow than mine, which is a very traditional Versailles kind of thing. But if you look at the rest of my house, it's very traditional.
That's the main thing - you want at least a little continuity throughout your house. Also, never ever go with something just because it's trendy - you'll wind up hating it more times than not. Go with your personal style - it's your home after all. One of my friends has a very mexican-southwest style home, and it suits her beautifully. If I tried to live there, I wouldn't be at all comfortable. :) Happy decorating - remember that sometimes the best results come from just picking one thing in the room and basing the room around that.
A word about lighting - lighting can make or break your room. In bedrooms, sconce style lights can be a wonderful alternative to candles, as can low-wattage side table lights (if you're in an apartment or have a tendency to knock things over like me, you can't go to the candle route most of the time.) Avoid really harsh lighting & high-wattage bulbs in your bedroom. They do make pink and red bulbs that are supposed to "up the mood-" however, in my experience those also create the glow of death. What works (a little crazy sounding, but it works) are yellow tones. I stuck low-wattage bug light bulbs in my room. It gives a nice warmth to the room without the glow of death. If you are in a house and have the option, look at Family Handyman for ideas on lighting.

Assuming that you are female, hang some erotic/suggestive (depending on how sexy you want the room to be) photos of yourself on the walls. I suppose the mirror over the bed has already been suggested.
