i am interested for killing boredum and curious about when ppl record music and when they can alter the voices and change them around and make em sound like a totally different person, i was wondering is there a free program to use that can do that. i right now have audacity which doesnt really do anything and i know the best of the best programs will be like 500 dollars thanks if you know of any

guys im no professional i like to when im bored and add effects to your voice and make it sound like a different person im not planning on launching an album or anything lol..

go to www.freefunfiles.com they have lots of that kind of stuff. be sure to check if its free or not.

I believe Audacity has voice recording, but that may not be what you really need.
If you want to record, what you need it HIGH quality Microphones, and headsets.
You should also look for a frequency controller. You are not looking for a computer program to do this, are you? You should (if money allows) get a regular sound board and mess around with it and see how you can adjust the quality, and make recordings sound good.
