It all depends on the couple. You have to be strong, trusting and willing to make it work. There are sacrifices that go with it and you have to make them. Mine is alive and going strong and we don't get to see each other that often, but when we do it makes it all the more special.

Long distance relationships do last. I'm in one and i've never been happier. Some people just can't make it work because of how they act and who they are. They can't help it. And most people dont' wanna see someone else make it work because they couldn't

I hope so! I'm in one right now and it can be very frustrating!! I do believe good communication skills between the two of ya'll is a MUST!! My b/f and I seem to always end up in different places (because of school and now work) but I would like to think that if you really love each other you can make it work. But I guess we'll see how that goes....

Yes, why not? It has just as good of a chance and any relationship. Heck, there are people who live in the same house that don't talk to each other (smile).

Keep the communication going and go for it!

Some of then will last, others will not. it has about the same chance as any relationship. You have to work at them either way. True love knows no bounds, if it's meant to be it's meant to be.

Continue to work at your relationship, the both of you. It takes two to make and two to break.

They usually don't. Part of the reason for being in a relationship is that you are not alone. Another reason is that you are on the same path in life. So, If you live two separate lives... it's not much of a relationship IMHO
