Why is Israel bombing Lebanon ..it is soooooooo not fair! Hizbolloah has nothing to do with most ordinary Lebanese , and they hate them and made demonstration against Syrian influence..

Why should they be blamed for Hisbollah crime? Are the Irish blamed for the IRA?

Lebanon was just recoving after all those years of why and becoming nice again..Now look what has happened..all the pease is now destroyed...

Will life ever get better???

Israel is bombing Lebanon because Lebanon has been bombing Israel for the last 5 years. Sometimes the bombing has been intermittent; sometimes it has been constant for days or weeks at a time. What would *your* country do if 20% of its citizens were forced to live in bomb shelters--several families crammed into an 8'x10' unfurnished, stuffy room--for days or weeks at a time?

The Lebanese government is not being blamed for the crimes of Hizbollah; they are being blamed for allowing another entity to govern areas that *it* is supposed to be in charge of. And Israel is hitting Hizbollah targets in Beirut and elsewhere.

The Irish aren't blamed for the IRA because their government doesn't give them the county of Cork and tell them to go ahead with whatever murders they choose to perpetrate.

I also wonder how you define "peace" such that it includes constant bombing of a neighboring country?

Hezbollah went into Israel and shot 8 Israeli soldiers and captured two of them, THIS WAS IN ISRAEL! So as the Lebanese government has a lot of Hezbollah people in the government, Israel is blaming Lebanon for this ACT OF WAR against Israel.
That is exactly what it is an act of war. What if some foreign country came and shot American soldiers and kidnapped others whilst they were on American soil, what do you think America would do? Or any other country for that matter.
Israel has the right to defend herself and protect her people.
Hezbollah have been firing rockets into Israel for years and Israel has been very patient with them. Now she is taking action.
Will life ever get better, probably not. As long as you have these Muslim terrorists trying to hold the world to ransom. They constantly fire rockets into Israel daily, and bomb trains in Madrid and London, the same Muslims go into schools in Russia and shoot schoolchildren.
As long as Islam exists there will be no peace.

Sleazer_1 is definitely in the right ball park with this one. However, I do disagree with the generalization of Israel as a 'Jewish' nation. I'm sure there are plenty of Jewish people out there who totally disagree with these actions.
This is where we are crossing into Zionist territory. What you really have to do is take almost everything you have heard on the news and distance yourself from it. There is a much broader picture that is occurring here.
We live in a world where operations like Gladio ('Operation Gladio' -- google it), and frauds like the Gulf of Tonkin incident are becoming the norm. There will always be strife, because strife, to a certain degree will always be created. And it is elected officials, all across the globe, with their cronies, that are perpetuating it.
I myself, am not a political person. I cannot tell you specific statutes in law, but what I am seeing occur in these last 15 years is a moralistic shame.

As for this quote that jrosen33balla heard on the news,

"The war on terrorism will end when the terrorists love their children more than they hate others"

Was the person who made the comment referring the current administration that occupies the White House? Think about it -- I'm sure that person wasn't, but add it to the mix.

Here are some main points:
-The Lebanese were told to disarm Hezbollah by the UN 6 years ago. Hezbollah was small and not a big threat back then. Instead of stopping it, they let hezbollah flourish.
-Hezbollah is not Lebanon, just a group in Lebanon.
-Hezbollah has their grounds that they launch missiles from in heavily civilian populated villages in Beirut- they are terroritsts, remember?
-Hezbollah kidnapped 2 israeli soldiers and landed some missiles on northern israel
-Israel Responded with Attacking Hezbollah. however, since hezbollah sanctions themselves near civilians, civilians were hurt.
Solutions?:
I forgot who said this quote., i heard it on the news earlier and it went something like this : "The war on terrorism will end when the terrorists love their children more than they hate others"

Hezbollah is a governing force in Lebanon and they are financed there as well. They are also financed by Syria and Iran. If Lebanon wants relief, then they need to boot the Hezbollah out! Simple as that! The Hezbollah took responsibility for the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers over the weekend and Israel is attempting to surgically exact revenge by bombing known Hezbollah gathering places. But, as we all know, civilian casualties are impossible to avoid! Lebanon harbors and finances Hezbollah... it's their own fault! The Lebanese also hate the Jews, so they're as much to blame as anyone and now, vengeance is being executed! They have only themselves to blame for harboring this criminal, terrorist organization! You reap what you sow!

Because of Hezbollah, The Israeli army lost too many soldiers and other 2 were kidnapped, and we don’t know what happened to them. Hezbollah is located in Lebanon, and the Lebanese government is letting this terror organization to live and act from their territory.
The Israeli army must fight back the missiles that are shot from the Lebanese side. We have 4 people that are killed from getting hit fro the rockets that are shot by the Hezbollah from Lebanon.
And today an Israeli army boat got hit and soldiers are missing.
There is no other option. It is a war. And in a war you must fight you enemy, which in this case its Hezbollah and its people, that are located inside the territory of Lebanon, that do nothing about it..

At the end of the day, they are two 'sides' neither of which will back down easily!....

The sensible thing would have been, for the release of the captured Israel Soldiers..... but No!..... rocket attacks, civillian injuries on both sides, etc, seem to be making things esculate!

Only the UN can stop this from becoming 'all out war' now..... and that may result in many innocent 'Peace Keepers' getting killed over the coming years!

This conflict is Serious as it threatens to de-satabalise the whole World (potenetially!) !!!!

Take Cover!

Israel has power and uses its power as it wants, bombing inocent people all over the world through its messenger boys from the US. Israel will soon be over. There is a prophecy, from 1946 (the israeli occupation had not even started) that says that they would gather in Palestine for a while but would not last. The Lebanese people are innocent, their fault is to have a too beautiful of a country, with green hills, RIVERS, a beautiful people - that is their problem.... It is too bad, all could be solved with love. With Jesus!

because in Lebanon there is a Terror organization that is called "Hezbollah" - 2 of her people are sitting in the government of Lebanon and Lebanon is NOT taking them OUT of the Lebanese government. they also don't take them away from North Lebanon, but they let them sit there and shoot measles at Israel.
Hezbollah for many years, they are shooting measles to Israel and they are kidnapping innocent people and bombing Israel with no reason- Israel didn't start anything, they just did it, so Israel is fighting to bring this terror movement down. Unfortunately this terror movement is getting money from Iran and Syria, but located in Lebanon, that's why it is so hard to stop them from the root. very hard, but has to be done so they stop killing innocent people.
