I have quite a few things I like to cook (when I am in the mood to cook lol), so I am not sure which one to give to you. Hmmmmmmm. How about something I made up for my stepkids when they were young (they are now 27 and 29 and still love this). I call it a burrito casserole.
rice (I prefer brown), cooked (as much as it takes to fill the bottom of a casserole dish)
package of burritos, cut into thirds (I get a package of 8 and use 5 or 6 of them)
1-2 cans of chili (I prefer Nalleys Cheddar cheese chili)
shredded cheese
Make the rice and put it into the bottom of the casserole dish. Cut up the burritos and put on top of the rice. Add the chili. Then put the shredded cheese on top. Since I like a lot of cheese, I tend to do rice, cheese, burritos, cheese, chili, cheese, but that's up to you. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
OR you can try spaghetti casserole. Anyone I make this for devours it!!
1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
spaghetti sauce (I think that Prego tastes best)
spaghetti, cooked
shredded cheese
black olives, chopped (opitional)
cook the spaghetti, heat up the spaghetti sauce in a pan with the ground beef in it. Layer it like this until the casserole dish is full: spaghetti, sauce, cheese. Once the dish is full and the cheese is the last thing on it, add the olives (if desired). Put in the oven for 25 minutes on 325 degrees.
