I don't know if it's the start, I think it started a long time ago. These things are all events leading up to to the "conclusion" as you say, but nobody knows.
Wars and rumors of wars. It's interesting to watch is'nt it? Many countries will become involved when Israel starts bombing back, as they are. We watch, pray and wait. Remember we're told to not be afraid for God is with us, even tho the mountains fall into the sea........

Although Ezekiel 38 & 39 clearly prophesy about this, it is hard to tell if the current hostilities are a prelude to the end. It may just be another milemarker on the road.

"You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you are not alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn't come yet. For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are only the beginning of the birth pains." (Matthew 24:6-8)

It doesn't really matter if this is the beginning of the end or not. Every generation has believed that things looked grim and time was short. We are supposed to live like the end could come at any moment. And the Holocaust proves that things can get pretty bad and still not be the end.

You're not the only one. Prophesies about this sort of thing have been going on forever. And so have the wars. The world won't end of the powers with the most might (one of which would be the USA) stay out of it. The planet may indeed be destroyed someday, but not by someone's prophesy, but by stupid humans.
Look into history, it;'s been a lot worse than this a lot of times.
We still have hope.

It makes me sad to see so many people just panting for the end of the world.

The "end times" in the bible are written so vaguely that you could honestly say that for most of human history we were at the "end times."

Hmph.

I agree! We are living in the end times, and we need to get ourselves lined up with Jesus now. If you know any friend or family member who is lost and has not accepted Jesus as their savior, you need to witness to them before it's too late.
