I think it has to do with the stereotype that they somehow earned. They are supposed to be good at making money in the most corrupt ways...sounds like capitalism to me

Ignorance. Everywhere you and and even since the beginning of time, people are filled with ignorance. I've never understood it myself. Apparently, Christians think Jewish people killed Jesus, Germans thought they were bringing down the country and presently, honestly, I don't know why people have a problem with Jewish people anymore. You'd think we'd get smarter. I'll never understand the hatred toward anyone, especially toward an entire race of people. There are good reasons to hate individuals, but a race? A religion? I don't get it.

From what I saw on the History channel it started during the Dark Ages from the time of the Plague. People of the Jewish faith during that period were generally money lenders. While most everyone else was sick and poor, some had money to lend and made a profit. Well some people, particularly of the Christian faith I believe, were jealous of their success, and actually blamed the plague on Jews. Mass hysteria ensued, jews were killed and or robbed of their possesions. Very cruel. That sort of hatred has persisted to this day in some people. I am a Catholic, by the way.

God said that the Jewish people would be the most hated people on the planet. And He was right. Hmmm, maybe the Bible is true???

I don't think religeon shapes who you are. Knowing if someone is Cristian or Muslim or Jewish doesn't stain my opinion of them, and I wonder why others don't think the same.
