It's different for everyone.
If it's been a couple of months since you weaned, I'd expect to see your fertility returning soon. Have you seen any fertility signals going on with your body? Egg-white cervical mucous, cervical position changes, ovulation pain, anything like that? Are you on BC?
If you are concerned, give your caregiver a call. If you think there is any chance you could be PG again already, it never hurts to test and make sure.
Edited to add:
You DO NOT get your period right away after giving birth. The bleeding that goes on right after birth is the lochia and is from the birth and the womb healing. For some women, it can end quickly and for others it can take maybe 6 weeks to stop. Any bleeding prior to 6 weeks is typically considered related to birth and not a cycle.
Some mothers never have a peiod while they are breastfeeding.

You need to see your doctor. If you only breastfed for a week then your period shouldn't be affected by nursing. You might be pregnant again or it could be from not eating right or stress. Go get it checked out so you can stop stressing over it.

After six weeks of bleeding, you should have started 28 days later. You might need to go to the doctor and make sure that you don't have a hormonal imbalance

It varies but you can still get pregnant again so don't be fooled by that. If you went on birth control right after that might affect how long depending on what method you are using.
