Somaliland is not internationally recognized as a country. It is still part of Somalia which has a capital in Mogadishu and no real effective government.

Does anyone care. Seems to me that Somalia is a country only in name as there is lawlessness throughout the country. In those circumstances has the concept of a "capital" any validity? I think not.
