Because Americans think they have 'God' on their side and everyone else is heathen.

From an American point of view, no individual has the right to take revenge on a killing--even if someone kills his only child. It is the government, and the government alone, that has the authority to prosecute and bring justice, to take revenge for the death on behalf of the parent and the society. In wars, sometimes people die who are not supposed to die. They are victims. That's why wars are sad and terrible events, and should be avoided if possible.
In such a case, if the father were to kill others to take revenge because his child was killed, he would be considered a terrorist, because he is acting without the authority of his own government. He is acting for himself. Only his own government is considered authorized to take revenge on his behalf.
Another factor is whether or not the killings were deliberate, and whether steps were taken to try to preserve the lives of civilians and innocents.
These are hard things. I think no one really understands them. Words seem very weak, when the grief of loss is strong.
I hope all of our governments are acting with good faith and integrity in these matters. Or we will surely have blood on our hands.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but it's NEVER ok to kill a child regardless of nationality or race, or who's doing the killing! That said, if an 11-yr-old has a machine gun pointed at YOU, do you think you'd take him out knowing he would kill you if you don't kill him? Probably. That's different. That's self defense, and the ABSOLUTE ONLY way it's even remotely acceptable.

If a father is willing to kill his own child he is probably willing to kill a lot more people than just that one single child. It can be taken as a major possibility that he'll then go on killing more people for whatever purpose he wishes to accomplish.

Where have you seen americans killing children? A liberator is one who sets people free. A terrorist is one who attempts to strike terror into the hearts of his enemies. You are asking a loaded question my friend. If a man kills the man that killed his son to revenge the death of his son, it is not right, but it is acceptable only in the fact that this man killed his child. If that man goes on killing after that, he is a terrorist. Revenge is acceptable to some degree, but wanton killing is not.

If anyone kills a child they are not librators. I know your trying to make America sound bad with this question, but no American has ever killed a child and claimed to be a librator.
