After posing various questions with which some may not agree, I have found that the majority of the people who offer close-minded answers or just insults in general, do not allow themselves to be contacted to discuss their opinions. Oh wait, they're just following the example shown by our government.

Mike, I hate to tell you... but it isn't just the people who think opposite of you who do it. I know, big shocker, right? People who think exactly like you do it to people who think like me.
I, however, have not insulted you. I call it as I see it, but I won't call you an idiot. I might call you a "genius" sarcastically, but hey, it's a lot better than calling you a lot of the names I've been called on here.
Perhaps you should not ask such inflammatory questions. You do rather invite the criticism. By the way, I have contact info.

Looking at your questions and the answers to them I found quite the opposite: virtually no one word insults, lots of diatribe concluded w. one work insults, some well considered answers to some bleeding obvious questions. 'Why don't we just through Bush out' for example, well let's see, does he have any rights as president? Duh, generally I agree w. many of your sentiments but this is an open forum not a Liberals club so you have to expect that controversial questions will excite a lot of emotive responses. Wait till a real nutter answers you!

Really? There are a plethora of methods for contacting the various parts of our government. You must be the type of person who simply complains but never bothers to write to their congressperson, judges, or other governmental officials. Their addresses AND phone numbers are in the blue pages of all telephone directories, and are also available on the 'net.

And before you throw it out, with Freedom of speech includes hearing things that offend you, not just you saying things to offend other people.

I find it interesting, also, that those who seem to be the most critical and most closed-minded are often impossible to find. 1st off mike, whats your last name I know a mike d. and secondly I have no clue, I just read all of your questions and they arent offensive at all. but we cannot get rid of bush that would take just about a civil war, shoot they couldnt even get rid of clinton and they were trying. and to tell you the truth we never really did have controll over our government, I mean bush bought his election from the electoral college. so I dont know.
