The wise owl said 3 and then crunch. Technically I guess 3, although after careful research I did about 18 on the average before sucking for about 5 minutes and not crunching until reaching the taste of the tootsie roll center. But I'm not near as wise as the owl in that time I could have a half a bag and the rest of the family wouldn't have gotten as many as me. Have a good one:-)
