Pick it up off your desk and gracefully fling it out of the window.
You will feel much, much better, dear.

If you saved most of the things that came with your computer, there should be some kind of cd that restores it to the factory settings when it was new, if you really want to do that. Or you could get a antivirus program and eliminate the virus.

Dowload AVG Free version antivirus and let it scan and remove the virus. If you really have to "delete everything" to make your computer work, you'll want to fdsk the system, remove the partition, re-partition and re-format. Then you'll need your original operating system disks and the installation disks to all your software to get it up and running again.

Try this before you format your hard drive:
http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic17297.html
If that doesn't work, just put in your Winows XP CD, and install Windows, it'll ask if you want to format, say yes
You'll have to be sure your first boot is CDROM. You can do this by hitting the delete key a few times when you first boot up and see the computer logo, then find boot sequence and make CDROM first

2 Good antivirus software are AVG and Avast. I have given you the link below. Also, run spybot or ewido to get rid of spyware. One thing you have to remember is to do it in safe mode. Hit f8 when you first boot up and enter safe mode. This way you can eradicate all viruses which are on your system files. If you don't do it this way, the virus on the system files will say in use and you won't get rid of all of them.
Good Luck!

update and run a scan with your virus protection software, that should hopefully remove the virus. If you don't have virus protection software, get some.
