mculasso you're the dumba$$. Your right about one thing though, native americans are the true owners of the land and guess what. We gave them land on which they govern and US laws don't apply so in a sense we did give the land back to the original owners. Mexico was just another product of European conquest and Mexico was a conqueror of the native americans. So it's not Mexico's land chum......p!

Why are they harping on this issue now that immigration has become an issue all we hear now are from only the people in country illegally grasping at straws about the great land deal. They just had a President election didn't see any one in a position of power demanding back any of this land or saying it's ours now tear down everything you built and return our land to us as you found it. Even if the land was their's to this day the country can't even tend to what land it has now and people are leaving in droves is more space and land going to solve what ? Not anything hardly. Birth control is not practiced the country would be in deeper trouble than it is now ! Why they are so hard up they resort to issues they already lost to.. sorry baby can't have it both ways.

I think you've answered your own question. But... they claim that the land was stolen during the Mexican American War, which they regard as having been unjustly instituted by the USA, and then used as an excuse to annex the land. Who knows? But, I believe one thing is absolutely true. Every Mexican that sneaks across the border into the US is casting a vote that the US did the right thing by taking the land.

lol... well im mexican myself and some people do go over board... yeah we use to own this land and we were force to sell it at and injustifiable price, but we sold it. Anyways we cant give back the land to any of those tribes they no longer exist. The only remains is within the mexican people. So technically we are the true heirs of the land.

it's not about hating white men, and we're not talking about millions of years ago... I'm not Mexican but i still believe that what is being done to them is unjust! The land was originally theirs and it was taking away from them, just like they took it away from American Indians! What's done is done but at least allow them freedom and allow them a life where they can raise their families in peace!

Actually on the Discovery channel, they said they had recently found skeletons that dated back BEFORE the native Americans even!!! And,GUESS WHAT??? The skeletons were that of a WHITE person!!!!
