why is it black people can tell jokes about white people and we laugh with them. but if we tell a joke about them we are racists. same for christian/ateists. i really don't understand

First and formost nobody enjoys being generalized. I know a lot of black people who can openly make fun of and they will laugh beside me. My brother is an athiest and i pick on him about it all the time. He thinks its funny. He is not the only athiest to take a joke from me either.
Why is it you catagorize people? are they actually different from other people? Look at the truth of your question. Your asking other people if they are bigots. I for one am not.

because those who have (whites & christians) cant make fun of those who dont have (blacks & atheists)
is it fair for the rich to make fun of the poor? no, is it fair for the poor to make fun of the rich? yes.
it allows the underdog to have a temporary step up.
