that Jesus was a true prophet, but they don't heed His teachings.
Even the Quaran says to believe in Jesus. But much of what Muhammed wrote was contradictory to what Jesus taught.

They believe in false gods. Jesus Christ is the only true God and savior of mankind who saves you from your sins. No other religion claims to save people from their sins. They claim that just following your religion and being good and you will make it to heaven. They are religions of good works and good works never saved anyone. Only the blood that Jesus Christ shed at Calvary can save anyone from their sins. Claim it!

I am a Muslim, and everything you say is completely false. We follow Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh), but Jesus (Pbuh) was also a prophet. Islam is a very accepting religion. Actually, the word Islam is derived from salaam, meaning peace. Also, another thing. The Qur'an cannot be completely understood in any other language except Arabic. Every other language would just be an interpretation, which can easily be misread (or on purpose). So, if you haven't actually read the Qur'an in Arabic and you are a non-muslim, you have no right to call Islam or our Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) "false." Oh, yeah. When Prophet Isa (Jesus) supposedly said "'My God My God why have you forsaken me," you should read that in Hebrew. For some reason, when Jesus says "God," it is extremely similar to the word "Allah." Also, the people are Muslims don't necessarily represent Islam. That would be like saying President Bush represents Christianity (for those of you opposed to Bush).

Most major religions do not believe Jesus was a 'true prophet'. Who told you that? And more importantly, WHY did they tell you that?

Muslims believe that Jesus and Moses were BOTH prophets but that Muhammad was the prophet closest to God. They believe that there are only 3 legitimate religions: Muslim, Hebrew and Christian.
They feel that these 3 are legitimate because they all 3 essentially believe in the same God, regardless of what they call him, Allah, Jehovah, Yaweh etc. They also believe that THEIR book, the Quran, is the only wholly true book just as Hebrews believe the Talmud is the only true book and Christians believe that the Bible is the only true book.

Straight now?

It like this... a ll religons are basically the same .... they only disagree with reargs to God, man, heaven, hell, salvation, the past and the future... got it?

Jesus called God 'Father' in every prayer he said except 'My God My God why have you forsaken me' on the cross
the Koran puts calling God Father as a sin and says Jesus never died on the cross.. at least one is mistaken, no?

points where the Torah do not seem to match the Koran would include... adam being punished because he became naked, noah having a child who drown in the flood, God telling the Jews to stay in Egypt

ponts where the gospels do not agree concern Jesus as Son of God and dying on the cross for the sin of the world, the heart of the gospel, a rather large part, eh?

The only religions that acknowledge Jesus is Christianity (of course) and Islam ( Jesus is one of the four prophets).

If you're going by the King James version of the Bible, you're not getting the correct story in a lot of places - that was a translation of a translation. The newer versions are direct translations from the oldest versions of the Bible and are more accurate.

I have inquired of a Muslim who says that Mohammad was NOT contradictory. Are you getting your information second-hand or have your read the Quoran yourself?

mohammad was a false prophet. He denied jesus. He is the spirit of the anti-christ.
John 5:23 "That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which hath sent him."

As wise human beings, the best thing to do is take a bit from all of it and look at the big picture of what they all had in common and what they all had to say. Quibbling about minor little differences is such a waste of time.
