sell them for whatever you feel is right, but if you want them to go to good homes, i suggest that you ask you rfuture owners a lot of questions, make sure thay have done homework on the breed, and make sure that they know what they are getting htemselves into. In my opinion, Pit (although WONDEFUL dogs) are not a good first dog for someone who had no previous dog experience.

Hello, again! I hope all is going well with the little babies! Now comes the business end of the deal, huh? Best of luck!

Whatever you do, please do not give the puppies away! There is little or no market for them in most of the US anymore, but do your *best* to find homes with people who will pay the money you request. It's too tempting for mills, research, and dog-fighters to take free APBTs. And people who want free puppies often don't want to pay vet bills, either. Charge *something* for them. Interview the people that call you and ask them questions about their homes and families. If they are looking for an "attack dog", hang up! Slam the door! Don't be shy! I know you care very much for your dog and her puppies, and I know you don't want these puppies to go out into the world and contribute to the bad reputation of these dogs. It's up to you to make sure they go to loving forever homes.

It is good that you are approaching this with the responsibility that you are... Stick with that health guarantee. Keep asking questions until you have all of the good, logical, sensible answers that you need! (Ignore the rest.) When you are done, make sure that you evaluate everything that has happened and what you have learned from the experience... And what should be done in the future.

Again, best of luck! If you *have* to resort to placing these puppies for free, give them to an APBT rescue organization. They'll get to live in foster homes with people and maybe other dogs until they have new, very carefully-selected homes.

$200 sounds like a good deal to me. This is a breed of dog that does have aggressive tendencies so it is important that they are only sold to people that understand that and do not have small children or other pets. This is not to say that they are a bad dog.
It is a shame that a breed of dog gets a bad reputation. I have known several pitbulls and none of them have ever bitten any one. This is because they are owned by responsible people who understand the characteristics of the breed. They did not buy them to make themselves look cool or tough.

The price of a purebred puppy depends on if you are buying a "show or working quality" puppy, or a "companion only" puppy.
Puppies sold on a spay/neuter contract with shots & papers usually average around $500.00 in price. Puppies sold for working or competing can be as high priced as $1500.00.
$250.00 is the average starting price for purebred puppies sold as is... no shots, papers, spay/neuter.
If it is a mixed bred the average selling price is $50.00.

Also, keep in mind that many states, like here in CA, are trying to pass a law banning people from owning pitbulls as pets... because of their violent nature. This may bring down the value of your puppies or make them more difficult to sell.

Sugar is a GREAT looking Pitt! You should be able to get $200 each without papers. Just make sure you sell them to "good people". I have a Boxer ( part of the bull dog family) and used to take care of my buddies Pitts and people still fight them so you have to watch who you give the puppies too. When his ***** had puppies we knew who would fight them so we refuesd to sell them to the scum.

I think that you should sell them for $100 each and if that does not work just give them away.
