Whatever rfjannsen. Then why is the guard serving more than 2 tours over in Iraq not enough soldiers.

If they would serve in the military they would be rewarded with citizenship at an expedited rate. They would still have to take the tests, learn English though. They would not need an amnesty, and it might teach them some loyalty to the United States.
The Army and the Navy both take citizen wannabes in exchange, ask a recruiter if you don't believe me.

I like how you think. My take is the amnesty issue has to be resolved before Bush leaves office. It will be the problem of the new administration to decide. Time will tell.

Nah..I don't think the military can accept enlistments from those who are not citizens. The real reason is that our politicians are cowards and are trying to think of what position to take on illegal immigration that will do them the most good in the upcoming elections.
