I dont believe a persons religion dictates a right to not like that person. It is the religion to which that person belongs where you want to center your frustrations. A lost person can not see the light and can not be expected to know good until shown otherwise. I would never condone saying bad things, but anytime you represent a truth to which people have been fooled or decieved you risk someone claiming you are bad, or you are showing hatred toward them. The idea is not forcing someone into a lifestyle. The idea is saving someone from a condemning lifestyle. If someone approaches you and says have you thought about giving your life to Christ then they have expressed, from their heart a deep concern for your eternal being. If indeed someone does not like to be confronted, it is as simple as saying no thank you. Salesmen come to your door offering much worse things.

It goes both ways. And your right, I don't think ANYONE should make fun of someone Else's faith, religion or unbelief.
Most people do it, however as a form of self defense. Yet they ask each other questions and they want logical answers. These issues will always be brought up because no one has died yet, don't know what death feels like and they haven't seen what's on the other side.
So until then, sadly, the debate will continue.

Everyone has their own beliefs. It is just hard for other people to understand that some people believe in different things than others. It is b/c they are very close minded. People should be able to worship what they want who they want and when they want. It should not be required that you join a certain group of people just because that is who your family belongs to. If any of these people are deeply and truly religious they should accept other religions and let it be b/c God created everyone.

The issue is that they subject themselves to a position of mental slavery. They are afraid to take action as a co-creator here in this existence and hand over their freewill to those who wish to manipulate them. If we really want to make a unified change in humanity's worldview, it must be a group effort. It is spitiual procastination not to walk the same path of those you are learning from. Instaed people are just told to sit and wait while the truth becomes distorted more. If we all understood that these spiritual leaders were always referring to your ability to create and change and not have fear, people would become more responsible and those who control us would lose their power. This shouldnt be that hard to understand.

It's not your religion that we have a problem with, it's the fundie's forcing their morals on everybody else. You're anti-abortion? Fine, don't get one. You want your kids to learn biblical creation rather than evolution? Fine, teach them at home. Fundies try to enact laws forcing their beliefs onto others, and that's what we have a problem with.
We don't care whether you like us or not, nothing gives you the right to force us to live according to your sky-daddy's rules.

Those who have skimmed the surface of one's own religion and faith will always be insecure. Either individual or collective antagonism restores some of the security they do not have. They have poor understanding of the tenets of their own religion or miscued by those who lead them astray. They also do not have patience or time to learn and understand anything which will cure their traumatic, religious experiences.

You keep on saying that we Christians try to force our beliefs on you non-believers, but you are the ones who try to force you unbelief on us. Their is something call a first Amendment that I do not see how Christians are covered by it, because we are being forced in a box, because certain people do not like what we believe. When are we going to be able to live our life praising God without you NON-BELIEVES TRYING TO FORCE THE FACT ON US THAT YOU DO NOT BELIEVE.

Some people who choose a religion that requires violence are the ones who try to force their religion on others.
