Jesus said:
Luke 19:26"For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
Luke 19:27But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me."
Sounds like a call for Jihad, convert them or slay them. How is this any better then Islam?

Jesus is talking about people who refuse to believe in him, he will do that to them in judgment day. It has nothing to do with the present and Jihad don't believe in the divinity of Christ.

To understand what Jesus meant by that you need to read the entire chapter. You are taking things out of context. Did you understand that those that hath represent those that were obedient, faithful and understood what Christ asked of them. The slaying was not literal killing it was the knowledge that those who would not follow him would not have everlasting life but would die and be no more. This was not a call for a Jihad although some like to interpret it that way (i.e. The Inquisition and the "Holy Crusades") Sometimes people twist things to fit what they want to do as opposed to what they should do.

He was giving a parable - and you know full well you are breaking up that parable OUT OF CONTEXT, just to serve Satan your manipulative father.
Jesus never taught violence, never asked his followers to kill, maim, not even to make a face at one's enemies. "Turn the other cheek".
The Parable was comparing God and people on "judgment day". At any point When Jesus returns to put down the Antichrist - not one Christian will harm a hair on anyone's head BUT Jesus' Angels will. They will slay the Antichrist, his false prophet and all who followed the Antichrist and any who fight against him when Jesus returns to reign from Jerusalem.
Jihad? Nope. Its ridding the world of a great many sadistic evil - again - not through any followers of Christ.

How many times can this passage be misconstrued. Jesus was giving a parable. It was part of the story. Did you find this on some site or did you actually open a bible and refuse to read the whole chapter?

No, Serf, here are a couple examples of the words of a terrorist:
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 11:20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
11:21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

Look all I know is the bible is in and of itself an interpretation of what may or may not have been said or done. And all I know too, moreover, is since society began humankind has been plagued by one simple problem...the concept that "I am/this way is right and everything/everyone else is wrong" It is sad that religions of all varieties propagate this madness...perhaps not in theory and scripture, but in practice most definitely.

you, old son, have way too much time on your hands. how about you get off your butt and try helping out around here instead of just making trouble and talking trash. that bible is a not particularly good work of fiction and way too many people have been killed over what has been put into it.

Matthew 5:39
But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
Not exactly the words of a terrorist.

Jesus is talking on behalf of himself and the father; he NEVER gives any indication that we are to be the judges.
Jesus also said:
"He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone..."
