I read in a glamour magazine that if you turn your head upside down and sprinkle baby powder lightly from the roots to the ends and fluff your hair. It helps i've tried it!

1. Wash your hair with shampoo for oily hair.
2. Rinse with beer. The ingredients will get excess oil out.
3. Wash with shampoo again.
4. Use a light conditioner. Because oil is not moisture.

Ask a hair dresser for which shampoo/condition would be best.

Try Frederick Fekkai Apple Cider Rinse Shampoo. You can buy it at Bath and Body Works, Nordstrom and Sephora. It strips your hair of all the chemicals and polluntants. For a home remedy I would use a Vinegar. That will also strip your hair of chemicals, without damaging your hair. Wash your hair with vinegar and don't use condiitoner.

i have had oily hair all of my life..i am now 25 and i went to a really good salon and they told me i could take my regular shampoo and put baking soda in it...you just put the regular amount of shampoo in the palm of your hand shake some baking soda in it and make a paste but not too thick and start at the top of the scalp and massage it in just like you do with regular shampoo... do it like twice a week and your oily hair will go away really quick...it works wonders for me...good luck oily hair sucks

Prepare it and mix it in the shampoo you use.

To make the infusion, boil two handfuls of mint leaves in one-and-a-half glass of water for 20 minutes. Strain the solution and mix in a 300 ml bottle of shampoo.

wash n rinse as usual

I would try using lemon juice from real lemons not from a bottle. You can also try using beer. I hope these help you. For non home remedies I like to use Avon products.

I would not know. My hair is constantly dry therefore the only remedies that I am aware of produce opposite effects of what you are looking for.

I wash my hair once then rinse with vinegar, wash again twice to remove odor, it works for me. My dad used to be a car mechanic he washed his with dish soap or green lye soap to remove the oil.
