I'm going to the lake and it's supposed to be 100 degrees. Not sure whether it's Corona time (not my favorite but good when it's hot) or something mixed but easy. Blended drinks take too long and the house is too far from the dock.

If you live in an area where you can get Leinenkugel's beer (made in Chippewa Falls, WI), then get a 6-pack (or a case if you're in a partying mood) of their Honey Weiss beer and one of their Berry Weiss. Get two frosty mugs - pour 1/2 of the Honey Weiss in each mug, 1/2 of the Berry on top. Oh, it's soooooooo good on a hot day.

I agree with you Corona choice...you have to bring some of those with some nice fresh limes. I would also suggest a bottle of Bombay Saphire and some tonic. You can use the lime for those as well :0) Just be careful! They drink very easily in the sun but hit hard!

You can never go wrong with a good ol' classic Vodka & Tonic. Add a twist of lime for the summertime and you're good to go. Recommended vodka: Gery Goose or Ketel One (if you're given the choice!). This is an easy, cool, and sophisticated drink that only requires two ingredients. Plus, it gets you totally loaded if you want it to!

In that case, bring a cooler loaded with beer so that you don't have to go back and forth to the house to grab your beer or drink... ice-cold beer out of a cooler when its 100 degrees like you say, that is the best!

The new bottled malt beverages from Smirnoff. Smirnoff ice, or the twisted varieties: black cherry, wild grape, raspberry, green apple, orange, or watermelon. They are all very good, easy to transport in a cooler (just like bottled beer), and sooooo refreshing when it's hot. My favorite is black cherry. Or go with wine coolers if you like them. There's also Twisted Teas. AHHHHHHHH, so many flavors and varieties.....so little time.

Once the alcohol works it's magic in that heat it's not going to matter weather it's hot/cold...But i would recommend taking a fresh fruit juice of sorts, with a spirit of sorts and plenty of ice from a cooler..this will save you ...
OR
take something like Bacardi fruit mixes in the small bottles or something of that sort...but key is still plenty of ice Hon.
Play safe and enjoy!

That guy said malibu coconut rum on the rocks. Wow. You want to know how you know you are gay. Slow down there killer. Beer is good because you can drink it all day. But whiskey will do the trick at night. I learned that last weekend at the lake.

If you want something easy but sophisticated, try a mimosa: equal parts orange juice and champagne. Add an orange slice and a sprig of mint and serve in a chilled champagne flute.
