funny how a few years ago, they wanted to make that a recognized language or somethinglike that, but some of the smarter brothers realized how stupid it made the whole race appear, then they dropped it.
i guess some never got that message............

Yes, I do think ebonics is funny. I don't know why though. Maybe it's because it's the way it sounds.

I think ebonics is annoying, and I don't understand why those who speak it can't just speak proper English. They KNOW the language, so they have no excuse.

what I think is funny is that while I hear a whole lot of ignorant bashing (still) going on about a linguistically interesting dialect, these days it seems like there's always a white suburban kid around ready to utter things like "a'ait" when he wants to sound like a bad *ss.

Not really funny but ignorant if you really talk like that and not sure how to pronounce the English words. It coupd show how ingonorant you really are.
