I believe all animals cry, we can't be the only creatures God created that cries. I've seen kittens when they meow cause their scared or something there's this goo that forms on their eyes, and I think that's their tears.

Sure the cats cry and believe me i had an experience that the cat cry, sometime i feel very bad and i go to the restroom and i start to cry. My pretty Bungee black cat she was just on door of the restroom and she start to miouw and i say shut up and when i say that i understand sometime my cat want that i open the door because she want to know why i cry and she start to miouw differently and i understand that she cry with me and want come with me in the rest room, and it's not a joke because i explain that situation to a vet. and she tell me that my cat cry with me.

To tell the truth, I´ve never seen a cat crying. If you see a cat crying, go to T.V.

They don't have tears but they have this mournful cry. My cat sounds like she is dieing when she wants me to let her in the room. But my other two cats don't do that. She is just overly dramatic. Many will have a diff. cry in the car they know its time for they vet!

Yup. I went away from my cat for the first time last week, and she stayed home with my husband. I came home after 2 days, and when she saw me she said MMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEOEOEOOOEOOOOOOWWW! and buried her head under my arm and sobbed. Maybe it is 'cause she is Siamese, and they "talk" more than other breeds. Anyways, I called my mom and said, I havent ever seen a cat cry before, but she did.

Can cats be happy? Can cats get pissed? If you answered yes on either one, then yes, cats cry.

Cats can be very sad, depressed and/or grieving, and CAN "cry" in terms of vocalization, if that's what you mean. If you mean tears, they don't generally tear up when they're sad, but they can tear up if they're hurt/in pain and their eyes water -- just like we would.

Yeah they do. Usually silently. but sometimes vocally. No tears though. It is possible to tell but if you give your cat enough love and attention it should remain very happy

yea they do.. just like dogs when they make a mh mh sound thats how thay cry im sure cats make a sort of meow sound to cry..
