So explain to me why so many self proclaimed A-Theists scour the "Religion & Spirtuality" category of this forum, to respond to questions concerning theism? If you don't believe in God(s) just exactly what are you looking for in the "Religion & Spirituality" category?
BTW: My totally unscientific observation has been that the majority of these A-Theists only have negative comments for people who claim Christianity as their belief, and say nothing about any other belief system. In fact, one alleged A-Theist actually said that Hinduism and or Buddhism were akin to A-Theistic beliefs. (How does that work?)

Just because I do not believe in a God or Gods does not mean I am not a spiritual being. To believe in spirit means that I believe this body is not who I am. Buddhism is not a religion per to say it is a way of life. The Buddha was a spiritual MAN with a set of spiritual practices. Unfortunately just like Christianity the original teachings have splintered and few fall close to his original teachings. I find the section here on religion and spiritualism a very interesting place to become acquainted with others and find that gaining knowledge does not tend to separate me from others but in fact strengthens my belief that we are all the same within. I have never put another down for their beliefs and I am available to anyone interested that would like to hear mine.

You had alot of Questions but I hope my answers are of some help to you.

Is this the "Only if you believe in god" section?
I am an Atheist. I have read and studied the bible. I have attended chruch. I have studied many different types of religion. And after all of this I made an informed and educated decision to not believe in god.

Now....why do so many believers tell me I should not be here because it is the religion/spirituality section? I can ask/answer iintelligently about religion. Why don't I have a right to have a disscusion about god?

Buddhism is atheistic. There is not necessarily god worship in Buddhism, it is more of a philosophy although some Buddhists do become religious in their practice. There are other types of spirituality that would also be atheistic.

Buddhism could be an atheistic belief, since it has no god, but is more of a way of life.

so...what, because we dont have a religion or bleive in gods were not allowed to voice our opinion about religion?

well budhism is a religion centered around the search for peace. they dont worship god(s) so its considered an atheistic religion.
