no it's not a guy... I'm straight sorry to break all you boys hearts... it's my ex(girl friend) from high school and a lil after...

5 years we were together... and we have talked about once or twice a years for the last few years...

she lives about 1200 miles away in florida...

she has been married and had one child... and I have no children and have never been married...

the reason I ask this is because I still love her... and I always thought she was the one... and after we broke up I have always felt like I lost my best friend...

so am I pathetic or...?
is this really a plausable goal...?

My ex from high school is still chasing me. Honestly, I just don't feel that way about him anymore. He came to visit and he mostly just annoyed me with all his quirky habits and all-knowing intellect (said sarcastically). He's a nice guy but we've definitely grown apart.

Having said that, there's been a big resurgence in old love's reuniting successfully due to websites like reunion.com or classmates.com.

If both parties are available, not married, and are willing to try it again, then sure why not? I know people who went back to their high school sweetheart after both were married to other people and it worked out for them the second time. Never hurts to try.. or try again. Good luck.

Yeah it'd be nice to reminisce about the old days and see how life had treated both.

I think it is very possible, due to common history, and good memories. It turns out that my high school sweetheart was gay... darn, I knew he was too fun to hang out with!

I suppose I could, but my husband might get a little miffed.
