KISS COMPLAINT!!! now where has the world come to when a vicar who gives a 10 yr old in front of parents and teachers a KISS on the forehead and he has to submit his resignitation, give me a break!!

this child was kissed on the forehead in front of family and friends and hundreds of others , so why now? publicity for gods sake

im a school teacher .. (under 5's ) we have been banned from hugging a child who has fallen or who is upset ... these children are still babies for gods sake ... we literally have been told to stand a foot away and say 'there there '
Im considering leaving .. i cant not comfort a crying baby when he / she is reaching up for me to hold them !!!!! breaks my heart ,..........

I know I read that in the papers! Isn't it awful, and it was the kids mother that complained! The world is getting far too nanny state. What about old family friends, can't the girl be kissed by them on the cheek?

This is indeed a pathetic attempt by the forces of evil to get a good man out of his job as shepherd of his flock..And,worse still,on this occasion,satan has succeeded.I pray that the vicar,his wife,his family,all forgive the authourities for their gross overreaction in this matter.and that his family are not anguished by people who will undoubtedly try to bully them over this.

The kids mother started all this, and she is the type of person that has stopped school trips, outings for cubs and brownies, etc etc, they all want attention but the PC brigade are all prepared to listen, thank god it was kicked into touch.

Hmmmm, well, vicars do have a history for abusing kids.
Kissing somebody elses kid isn't to be encoraged is it, cos im sure thats how many abusers get their kicks.

i now it really stupid did you now that teacher cant put suncream on the little kids at school as this could be classed as abuse but its all right for the kids to be burnt its not like they would be putting it any were but there arms legs and face
