Will they all use one bed or will they sleep single or in bunches of 2 or 3? I want it to be pretty and special but how? Will they even use it? I need some advice and instructions!

just find a couple nice boxes large enough for them and put a nice blanket or pillow in it...
cut it like a basket with the handle and paint it like a large basket design...
if you have some paints or markers to decorate it with...

I do volunteer work at a local rescue center and the beds we make for our kittens as well as big cats are very simple and easy to clean. The clean part is important, esp. for kittens as they can be rather messy at times. What we do is purchase those plastic vegetable bins at like Walmart or Big Lots. The stacking kind work great if you have limited space. They cost about $2.00. Then you can purchase flannel baby blankets at the Dollar store and sew the edges together to make a pillow. Stuff it with fluffy stuff to the desired firmness, sew up the remaining edge and you are good to go. These pillows can be tossed in the washer and the actual beds can be hosed off or wiped with a disinfectant solution and rinsed and allowed to dry whenever necessary. Use a diluted disinfectant so the smell does not linger. Cats have very sensitive noses. All of our cats love these beds and they look sooo cute in them. Good luck!!

*LOL* Never had cats before?

Odds are your kitties won't even use the bed. They *might* when their little babies all sleeping in a bunch, because they like to bundle up in small spaces and stay close together. You'd be better off just buying an inexpensive little round kitty bed for while they're babies, or just put together a nice comfy box for them. Cats will usually choose to sleep with YOU, in YOUR bed, couch, etc. or wherever else strikes their fance -- but rarely in a provided cat bed. The kittens will want to be all close together for a few months, then they'll start spreading out and becoming more independent.

MUCH more important is getting shots, finding homes, and getting spay/neuter appointments on the books!!! They could be "functional" in those areas as early as 4 months!!!

Wow-good question-im still trying to find the right answer my self but here is what i have descovered already......If You buy it-they wont use it,that is one of the hardest lessons i have learned-i have wasted hundreds of $$ trying to buy stuff for my kitty!When-evr i do they never use it and i have to donate it to the spca or somthing!Another good tip is kittens love wicker bascits-like made of weeved wood/sticks!They love the sound it makes and they can easily climbe in!Another little trick i have learnded is simple and cheap, you simple cut a square of fabric-fold it in half-the size can be as big or small as you wish-as long as your cat can stretch out every last hair and still have at least a center meter of rom left-since you have six you can do it any way you want-even make a circle!Next just fill sow up three sides of it inside out, then pull it out(the inside of the inside out stiching) to make it so the stiches dont show/that way the kitty cat rip it appart so easy or can choke on the thread!....you can use a pen or pencil to push out the corners! Then in the open side stuff some turn up cottens bals-like the 99 cents a bag kind you can get at the doller store! The sew up the final side-no the stiches can be on the outside-just try to use the same color thread ans fabrick! When that is done with put it in the microwave for 25 seconds-if its a little hot wave it once or twice in the air before putting it on the floor for the kittens to sleep on-the love this and will fall asleep instently! They will probly all sleep together as they did with thier mother-most kittens also like it if you throw like an old sheet cut to size over them making it darker bet still letting sun in!Well ill keep this Q on my watch list and if i find anything else i will tell U or e-mail it to U if thats ok!One last things-kittens LOVE cardbaord boxes! And for a quick toy and teething relive it is always great to put down an empty egg cartain-they will sleep in it and chew on the lumps-it fun and safe! Also like said B4 a box will work great if you rap it in shiny x-mas paper/wrapping paper!
These tips always work for me!I wish you the best of luck!

A large cardboard box with a door cut into it so the kittens can easily get in and out works very well. You can paint the outside with non-toxic paints, and line the inside with a pretty fleece blanket. Baby blankets work well, and you can just toss them in the washer when they get dirty. When the box starts to get gross, you can throw it out and get a new one.
A plastic storage container could also work, as long as it is shallow enough for the kittens to get in and out of easily.

like others have said, the kittens need to cuddle , so keep them together, i would suggest a big plasitc storage container about 6-12 inches high,,, minus the lid lol,,,,, decorate it how you want, put sheets or a blanket in it, this will be easy to clean, if you are talking about very little kittens, by the time they are able to climb out of it, you can litter box train them

When my cat was smaller and newly separated from his Mom. I converted a wicker laundry basket for his bed. I was afraid at first of stepping on him in the night. I put in a couple of throws (one with my scent on it) and put it in an open spot where he could see me. He is now 4 and still loves to crawl into that basket for his afternoon naps (The sun shines on it then)
