My whole family wants a puppy. (2 adults and 3 kids) Does anyone have just a mutt of like- any kind? We are looking for a FEMALE puppy 0-1 year.

Go to a shelter. Usually you can get one for practically nothing.

Check with your local SPCA or animal shelter. There are plenty of lovable puppies that would make a great pet for a loving family.

Just here to cast one more vote for http://www.petfinder.com It really is a wonderful site to find dogs in shelters and rescues in your area, gives pics and info about dogs up for adoption, and tells you a bit about the dog and any special needs it may have. I see puppies and young dogs up there quite often for my area...

Go to the animal shelter, and if you dont wanna pay then look in your local newspaper...lots of people give away free animals
