As in, drinking a lot of water makes you slim?

Yes and no.

No, because water won't make you slim on its own.
Yes, because if you drink a lot of water, you'll make yourself too full to feel like eating anything else, thus causing you to lose weight.

I would not recommend this as a diet strategy - it is quite possible, and it does happen, to die of water intoxication (drinking too much water).

Drinking 8 glasses of water a day will flush your system. It aids in weight loss along with diet and excercise.
