I'm a mother of a two yr old and one year old and still have no energy! lol...your best bet is to try to get as much sleep as you can. Nap when the baby naps. Also aviod sugar b/c it will make you feel sluggish. Try to continue taking vitamins if you have any.
hope this helps.

Rest, rest, and more rest. It has only been 5 months and your body has a huge job to repair itself, whilst you are running around after a baby day and night. When the baby sleeps you should sleep too. Next time you see the GP get them to test your iron levels to make sure that isn't draining you..and take a really good multi vitamin with loads of B group vitamins, C, E, zinc etc.. Take the baby out for a walk in the fresh air each day and go easy on yourself..the housework can wait.

Spend a few days writing down what you are eating and examine your diet. A lot of times new moms aren't getting enough to eat and drink.

Take your vitamins and try to get a little exercise...take baby for a walk. Make sure you are getting enough iron and protein. Sneak in a nap whenever you can.

You need to rely on family - if you have it - and take a day or two for yourself and just rest. Sleep 24 hours if needs be but take time for yourself and you will be re energized when you get back
