why is it wen my cat is throwing up her back makes funny movements like there is sumthing moving her back up and down...anyone know?¿?

shes trying to push her throw-up out of her. i know, it looks unvoluntary, but it is look when we sneeze we move our head back. its just the way cats do it.

She's throwing up hairballs, and she instinctively knows that it will help, if her entire back and torso area get involved, to assist.
These "snakelike" movements are normal and common, and they stimulate the guts and stomach.
Give her hairball oil remedy, in her food, and brush her coat every day. Whether longhair or shorhair, cats clean themselves by sucking their own fur. Comb and brush that fur thoroughly, to help with this.
And your cat will LOVE the attention of getting her fur groomed!

Just a muscle contraction. it's like when you throw up your chest seems to heave up and down. Just a way to have your body remove what ever it is thas trying to come out!

Her muscles are contracting and it makes her hair move and look kinda funny all my cats do it as well.

oh my cat does the same thing all it is.. is that when something will not come out her nerves move up and down nothing to worry about.
