Yeah an atheist is a regular human being, and they are not praising evil or a devil-worshiper or anything. My boyfriend is an atheist and he's actually a really good person, he just doesn't believe in God or a higher power, and even though I do...I think we are all entitled to our personal views, and I don't judge people based on their religious affiliation. You're right, atheists are normal, they just have stigmas against them because of our overzealous christian culture.

A theist wakes up, gets through the day, eats, does some things, eats again and then sleeps again, right?
In what way is that different from any non-religious person?

Well, not all "religious" people are the same way. Religious and TRUE Christians are two different things sometimes. You can be religious, but NOT be a TRUE Christian. The true Christian LOVES the idea of facing another day in which they can possibly do a good deed, or lead someone to the Lord by thier actions and deeds. They put on a smile, and talk to the Heavenly Father, and thank Him and praise Him. They feel differently in their HEARTS than most people do. It is all about being thankful and generous that makes a true Christian's day a whole lot better than the next man's. I hope that you can find this out for yourself one day.

Some religious people pray now and then through the day. The atheist dies not.
Saying that there's no difference because both eat, sleep, and does some things is really stupid.
You get up, eat, do things, and sleep, so does a jack-***. Is there any difference between you and a jack-*** ?

There is no difference. We are all the same race... the human race. We may have different beliefs and values, but our basic needs are the same. Once people can realize that the world will be a much better place.
For the person that said the atheist would be practicing witchcraft, yes, you are wrong. The definition of atheist is a person who believes there is no higher power, be it God, or gods or the Goddess. A person who is practicing witchcraft would have a belief in a higher power, therefor not an atheist.

The difference is: The Born Again Believer is Saved & has a Personal Relationship With The Lord And All The Benefits That Goes Along With It, Both Natural & Spiritual!.......Where the Non-believer has the benefits of the natural such as everyone else, but not (Salvation, Personal Relationship With The Almighty GOD and the Benefits that goes along with it (SPIRITUALLY From GOD HIMSELF).... Therefore, No Spiritual Connection Is Given To A Non-Believer To Know GOD until that person receives GOD!....And you receive GOD by FAITH!....(Matt. 5: 45) & (Hebrews 11: 6)........ps good question!

A religious person will take part of their day to come to Yahoo! Answers and share their lifestyle with everyone and tell kiddies not to try sex, especially homosexual sex.

An atheist won't bother to make judgments about other people (lest they be judged) unless someone asks a stupid question, begging for it.

And the atheist has 10% more money, since he doesn't tithe.

I don't know, I am an atheist and my day consists of a little bit more than that, but what's the difference between me and a religious person that believes in god? I don't really see why you have to ask this question but here it is, I will tell you, they believe in god, yeah I know it is kind of strange isn't it?

I guess the religious person just prays, spends more time in church, and avoids some things that the atheist might not!

But I see your point, definitely.

Difference...Balance and Imbalance

Energy can never be created nor destroyed, otherwise there would be an imbalance in the universe. All energy is transferred or redirected, absorbed or released.

When it comes to human emotion, there seems to be something totally different. There is this feeling of complete imbalance.
