Tylenol 3 has codeine in it, which if you are taking a drug test it would show up. If you have been prescribed this medication, then you would need to inform the tester of this. They will have you fill out and sign a sheet that you have to write down what medications you are currently taking.

Tyelnol #3 is tylenol + codeine. Codeine is a controlled substance. It will show up drug screens. If you have a prescription for it you will be fine.

Tylenol #3 is acetamenophen with codiene. The codiene will show up on a drug test if they are looking for narcotics because that is what it is.
