Cabin. Because this area is better pressurized for people.

Yes i would say cabin too! Make sure it's well wrapped though because you always get people sticking their hand luggage over yours without any due care and you don't want anyone smashing your bottle!

Bit of advice ... When you get to the cabin, pop it in the fridge straight up to leave it to chill. Champagne doesn't appreciate being moved too much you see! So you'd be better off leave it to rest for a few hours.

Enjoy!

If you are flying on an aircraft of any size the fuselage will be pressurized so that it can fly at higher altitudes. This includes the baggage pit. I would wrap the bottles well to make sure they are secure and pack them in your check bags. This way you will not have to worry about packing them on board. Bubble wrap works good or bunches of old newspapers. Just make sure you make the top and the neck of the bottle secure so the cork cannot be levered off or jostled around. The airlines ship all sorts of pressurized items on board in cargo pits. This includes cases of champagne. Just make sure it is packed well and solid. Have fun at the beach!!

Most planes pressurize the luggage compartments now, so it should be fairly safe from blowing. I would worry more about baggage handlers than the pressure. Personally, I would put it in carry on and hope you can get past security.

Carry on!!! You KNOW it's being handled safely. But to be safe, you may want to call the airline first to make sure you can carry it on a plane. Considering the weird list of stuff they consider weapons now, it would be better to be safe than sorry. Beside, you don't want to give those people at security a free bottle of champagne!!!!!!

Best to take it into the cabin. The cabin is always pressurized. If it isn't, it really won't matter.

I'm guessing, cabin probably. My friend took bottles of coke in the hold and they burst in flight.

Why don't you just drink the bottle you have & buy some wherever you are going. Or just save what you have now. Then there's no chance of it popping on the plane.
