Does it make sense that I can speak to God through the flesh of any person that is in surrender to God?
If God speaks to us from with in and confirmation comes from the spoken and written word then is God avalible for converation at any time out of "Christians, since He is alive and well in each of us?"

What would happen if we always talked to each other as though we were talking to God?

nice thought, but our brains are hard wired to change things to what we believe. Why do you think there are so many differing interpretations of the bible. each preacher preaches a different version. some laugh at revelations, some use it as their only guide.

Can you expect him to answer you in an audible voice? If he did just once do you think you would question his existence? It is impossible to please God without faith. God works through his Word and through his people, but his people aren't a voice piece. The Holy Spirit is alive and well in us if we are saved. We all hear a small voice in our ear.....you better weigh it though. Satan can whisper in a Christian's ear as well. You really don't have to speak to God through anyone else. Talk to him yourself.

"I had a prof one time... He said, 'Class, you will forget almost everything I will teach you in here, so please remember this: that God spoke to Balaam through his a s s, and He has been speaking through asses ever since. So, if God should choose to speak through you, you need not think too highly of yourself. And, if on meeting someone, right away you recognize what they are, listen to them anyway'." Rich Mullins
