First, I am going to the doctor. But I need to know how much to freak.

I'm not pregnant. I don't think it's an STD. Herpes do not bleed, says the doctor.

I thought I had symptoms of a yeast infection. I've had several and know what it feels like. I waited a few days to see if it would clear up but it didn't. So last night I finally resorted to Monistat.

In addition to the itching and burning, I had sharp internal pains every once in awhile. It was most uncomfortable right after wiping.

This morning, I felt 100% worse. I felt like I was having cramps, but I just had my period two weeks ago. Tonight, I went to pee and wiped carefully. There was no discharge or smell. A few minutes later, I felt a sudden wetness between my legs and experienced a watery, bloody "leak." I used a pad and it showed blood immediately.

I looked in a mirror and have what looks like large blood-filled *welts* in the opening of my vagina. They're almost black and HURT a lot.

WHAT IS THIS??? I'm terrified.

I can't believe how mean some of you people are. You should be ashamed.

I doubt it's an STD. I've been abstinent for several years, and nothing ever happened until right now.

I do have an appointment with a doctor, but they can't see me right away. Now I'm stuck in pain nad worry. :(

This could be herpes, which can stay dormant for up to ten years after you are infected. You can "google" for herpes and see pictures.

Some people can have herpes and never have any symptons, they are the lucky ones but can infect the ones they love without even knowing they have the disease.

You can go to a county health department to be checked if you are worried about going to your family doctor.

Good luck.

Maybe a hematoma? Started out as a yeast infection, turned into something bigger? I'd go to urgent care, don't wait any longer than you already have.

Don't freak - you can't control the outcome. Remain calm and see what the doctor says.

It is impossible for someone to diagnose by your notes.

As for those other jerks that replied to your question...ignore them - perhaps one day they will encounter something that bothers them and no one will come to their aide or be compassionate.

Hun, I'm no doctor but that seems pretty freakish. Just pray, and go to the doctor. Practice safe sex.

Good Luck!!!

I believe you in fact do have an STD. Herpes will usually start similar to what you've described

Glad I didn't sleep with you......(I haven't, have I?)
