I want to say that I like the way everyone answers these questions. A question I have is do you see how some answers are getting to the point of frustration towards the questions? Would you think it to be wise to always maintain the mild spirit? No matter how frustrated we become with the unknowledgable or those who slander our religion, we still realize we all are imperfect... mind you I am not an elder or ms or what have you, but I err on the side of caution with the world. If I overstepped my bounds, please feel free to say so..

Yes, it is frustrating at times to see the answers which can be very abusive toward witnesses. Not to mention the outright lies that have been told. Of course we knew we would be 'objects of hatred' just as Jesus was.
In our attempt to follow closely in Jesus footsteps, maintaining a mild spirit is always the wise course--albeit not always easy to do.
Fortunately in this forum we have time to respond properly, rather than blurt out the first things to come to mind.
Some will listen, some won't...

I can not believe how people slander us as Jehovah Witnesses. they know nothing about us and keep calling us a cult. if they would only get to know us as Jehovah Witnesses. we have feelings just like anyone else. I am a sister living in GA. they say we would not pledge the flag, but would we spit on it or burn the flag. of course not. why don't they come into the kingdom hall and learn about us. and see for themselves what we are all about. they rather tell lies about us
