I actually do wonder. It's hard to know what happens after we die and sometimes it's even a little scary thinking about the what ifs. I am still trying to work on achieving a level of faith where I am satisfied with what I believe.

I think anyone who has not really pondered on death has not really lived. Because only when one reflects on the things that truly matter in death, will one be able to understand the things that truly matter in life.
If in death, nothing matters, then it matters not whether I die today or 70 years later. I might as well die now and get it over and done with.
But if in death, there is something that continues, then it is imperative that I live my life in a way that makes that something worthwhile.
Oddly enough, it is in considering the meaning of death that one truly finds the meaning of life, for without meaning in life, then life is not worth living.

Yeah, wouldn't it be neat if someone had all the answers?
I don't really wonder because I believe in the Bible and it tells me what is going to happen. By the way Revelation is a very interesting book, it tells what's going to happen. If you can read it with an open mind (I'll admit, it's hard to do) as with any other book, it's really fun to read.

When we die we go in an unconscious sleep where we're not aware of anything anymore. The dead know nothing. If you believe in God then you are asleep in Christ waiting for his return and then be resurrected. Thessalonians 4:16 says For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. So basically you're just in a sleep like state and waiting until the coming of our Lord when he wakes us up again and gives us new and glorious bodies.

I believe your faith will tell you where you'll end up. If you believe in reincarnation, then you may be the next Britney Spears. If you don't believe in God, then you may just see darkness. If you do believe in God, then you may see the eternal light. If you believe there is a heaven and/or hell and you believe your actions while you where alive will put you in those places then that's what will happen. But no one really knows and even the dead can't answer that question for you. I lost my mother not to long ago and although her death was very painful for me it brings me great comfort to believe she is in a much happier place where she is no longer suffering.

The wages for our sin is death, we are all born into sin from the beginning, making this world cursed, when we die we go to sleep until Jesus Christs return, and at the time, those who believed in him, will be risen into an eternlal life in Gods Kingdom, and that I truly believe.

my near death experience was very quiet and peaceful. i expect it'll be the same when i die. no going anywhere except maybe back to the earth. why do we have to be going somewhere anyway? can we not just except the inevitable. if you want to do something why not give your body directly back to mother earth. you know, feed the animals and the birds and whatever else that can feed off your carcass. but no. we are use to ceremony and religous rites. crying and all the rest of it.
