Sometimes I get depressed for little or no reason. I have a really great life and I know it but sometimes despite all of that I allow myself to get cheered down. When you are feeling down in the dumps for no reason what do you do to snap out of it?

get some counseling get out and do something for yourslef try reaching out to a close friend or family member and tell them your problems im sure that will make you feel better

talk to a nice inspiring friend, eat a banana and then drink a glass of cold h20 its known to be an anti-depressant...., try getting a new hobby.., stay away from the computer for at least a couple of hourse.. that really depresses u, i have a gr8 life too and i get depressed easily but i just ty to keep myslef busy and dont spend so much time alone. casue lonliness leads ro overthinking which leads to depression.. think abt the less fortuntenate people, someone in some counrty right now is dying cause of starvation.. thank god and lastly pray often..

There are so many things you can do. Just keep your mind on active mode and do something you always enjoy doing, such as reading, writing, working out, playing/listening to music, etc.
Sometimes a good nap will do, too.

Get out and do something, activities will boost the attitude. OR hang out with alot of friends and have some good fun.

You need to go to a DOCTOR. What ever it is that is putting you down, you need to talk about it once it is off your chest you will feel a Whole lot better. Trust me I KNOW. Prayer also works.

Go do something that will help the poor. Do something that is worth a lot for someone in need. I think your situation is normal.

I go shopping, buy little things, or I get a good book or movie.

Believe it or not, tanning is a good way to overcome depression.

stop being depressed... Do things in small moves, build on top of little accomplishments...
