I used to pay $1300 for a one bedroom apartment in Culver City and $1500 in Marina Del Rey. This was 1.5 years ago. Can't imagine it's changed that much.

I live in O.C. but I have a friend who got me a deal on my apartment. It's a 2 bed 2 bath large apartment with a garage and I pay only $1,050. I've heard that most people are paying at least that for a one bedroom now. Price varies from city to city, neighborhood to neighborhood, and what amenities you want such as a pool, tennis courts, etc.
