Please read if you want a real answer...........

Christianity is more than just a religion.... it's a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ.

The answer itself is not religion, but faith....

The definition of religion is: rituals or traditions proformed in order to make ones way to God.

This is impossible because no ammount of good deeds will ever save us.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."-Romans 3:23, the Bible

God gave Moses the 10 Commandments for believers to follow,

If God judged us by these standards we would surely never reach heaven

you may ask, "If this is so who can get into heaven, how can one be good enough for God?"

No one, by going thier own path, can get to God.

But there is Hope!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."- John 3:16, the Bible

God gave up His Son, Jesus Christ, so that He would take the punishment of our sins upon Himself, so that all who accept Jesus as thier Savior would be saved from certain hell.

Jesus died and God raised Him from the dead and now He sits at the right hand of God in Heaven....

The Quran denies Jesus death and that He is God's Son.

The Quran was written by Muhamad,

He wrote peaceful tolerants in the city of Mecca, when that failed to attract followers, he wrote more aggressivly in Medina.

the world Islam means to submit.

here are some verses from the Quran...

"Fight and slay the pagans(Christians and Jews and non believers) wherever you find them, and sieze them, belieguer them, and lie in wait for them in every strategem(of war)."- Surah 9:5, the Quran

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is thier disgrace in this world, and a heavey punishment in thiers in the hereafter."-Surah 5:33, the Quran

I am not trying to attack you or others like you, I am trying to show you something, please continue reading...

Lets see what the Bible says...

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and percicute you." Matthew 5:44, the Bible

"If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him."-1John 4:15-16, the Bible

The Quran says that Allah in unknowable and that He is not love, and that He hates all who reject Him.

The Bible says that God is love, that you can know Him, and that He loves all, even those who have rejected Him.

The Quran, written by Muhamad, tells Muslims to force upon others their religion or kill anyone who refuses

The Bible, written by God, tells us to love our enemies, and that it is a choice to believe in God.

All of this is why I believe that Islam is a man made religion, it couldent of been written by God, because God is love.

Muhamad was just a man trying to form a religion, and now that is why all of the radicals attack Christians, Jews and unbelievers, becaus ethe Quran tells them to do so.

I am not calling you or your family terrorist, there are many peacefull Muslims in this world, but I believe that the teachings of Jesus and that the Bible is true

If you become a Christian, you could be in danger of what Surah 5:33 says... exile or worse... but Jesus Himself suffered and died for you in order to save your soul.

I became a Christian and now I know God as my Father, Jesus as my Savior, best friend and brother, and the Holy Spirit as my helper and guide.

If you want to become a Christian that do what the Bible says.........

"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."-Proverbs 28:13, the Bible

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."-Romans 10:9, the Bible

Jesus said, "I am the Way and the Truth and the life. No one comes to the Father(God) except through me."- John 14:6, the Bible
That is a promise from God Himself...

Now, would you please pray something like this with me....

Dear Lord, I am a sinner, just as everyone is a sinner. Please forgive me, save my soul, Jesus you are the only path to God, I accept you as my Savior. Please come into my life and into my heart. Please protect me from harm and from all who seek to distroy me, Thank you, in Jesus name, Amen

If you have prayed that prayer sencerly with all of your heart....

Then welcome into the family of God... you are my brother or sister in Christ. God has marked you as His child with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps you, He is God's presense.

read this please...

"For it is by grace that we have been saved, through faith, and this is not from ourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works so that no one can boast."-Ephesians 2:8-9, the Bible

You are not saved by your good deeds, but by God's grace by His Son Jesus

We do good deeds because we are saved, not in order to be saved...

God says for us to do good to others, even our enemies.

I am praying for you, thank you for reading, please try to get a Bible and read the book of John, it talks about the life and death of Jesus.

I am praying for you, may God bless you and your family.

You should be ashamed of yourself! You know Islam is the most complete religion there is I don't suggest that you change your religion but in I know in almost every Arabic country there are Christans and churches I think you should go there where someone can help you.

Study the Christan religion very well then decide which religion is best before considering converting to Christianity....

If you have a US Embassy in your country, I would strongly recommend contacting them. I'm not sure if the US provides religious asylum (I'm inclined to say that they do, though). Regardless, they will definitely be able to provide you with information on which countries (if any) do provide religious asylum, particularly for those coming from Muslim countries. EVERYONE deserves to believe in whatever God they want without fear of prosecution or capital punishment. Good luck, love!!

From "peace" a muslim here...lets disect his answer.

He should be ashamed for wanting to change religions. ( first sentence there).

He "knows" Islam is the best religion. ( reverse psychology, trying to get him to say Yes, Islam is the best religion ).

And the tone, isnt it almost threatening the way he types it?

Wow. They never cease to amaze me.

Now look at Abdul:

"Whats wrong with you??"

As if he is diseased for even considering leaving Islam.

ANd then icehot_pk calling them a liar, and a christian ( which he already said he is ), but based on what reason does she have to call him a liar?

Islam rules and reigns through terror, just varying degrees, as all evident here.

I do not know if countries grant asylem for this purpose
but ask the US embasy they will know You also might be aware that some countries might monitor internet activity and consider that

also consider that perhaps God may want you to stay where you are and pray for your neighbors

I would recommend listening to TransWorld Radio for listening to programming about Christianity or a god web site like www.desiringgod.org

first, don't tell any of your muslim buddies or they might kill you, next put on a big smile and approach an american soldier ( there's probably one nearby ) don't bring a weapon or you might get shot. Then tell him/her that you denounce islam and would like political/religious asylum in the free country of your choice. They should escort you to a safehouse type place and check you out to make sure it isn't a clever suicide bomb attempt (Understandably, so be patient with them) then they should make arrangements to ship you out, probably by plane or chopper.

the only advice that I can give you is :
if you have any doubts concerning your religion, go to an Islamic scholar and discuss it with him, you may change your mind.
if you insist on doing this, study Christianity carefully, and don't just take an emotional decision.
you're about to take a step that might change your entire life, so think again......and think carefully.

You are better Muslim. Don't convert, people will kill you as per Muslim law (i don't remember the name of law). Be Muslim and pray you "Allah" to give you next birth not in Muslim family.
Best of luck.
