does anyone know what i would need to do in order to be able to have my wedding at a beach?

I am a wedding specialist and I have several really nice all-inclusive packages where you can get married on a beach. Some of our packages include places like Jamaica and Sandals resorts and some places do not have any waiting periods for marriage license. You can even have your family and friends help pay for honeymoon by setting up a honeymoon registry. first of all congratulations, I love beach weddings.
1. ask some friends to lend you a hand
2. plan on paper, how you are going to decorate the beach (you can opt for flowers or you can opt something more romantic like shell designs, paper and glass love hearts, etc
3. contact a lido and request quotations
4. decide on whether you want a barbecue or a party
5. decide also on your wedding wear (remeber no high heels)

Talk to a life guard see if they know of who you need to contact...they might be able to close the beach down from the public for an hour or so...

Check with the local government, or a hotel that owns the property directly behind them.

You would have to ask the 'Registrar' or whoever the person is that conducts Civil Marriages at the Town Hall or elsewhere. They will advise........

You might need permission from the town's selectmen or a license..Go to town hall and ask.

That 's a good place to getting married and I think so that you have to make sure that date you going to get married isn't going to rain...
