The What Not To Wear ladies on the BBC show have helped me alot. I am 40 and wear a size 2-4 because i work out...I also dress like i am 25 instead of 40.
I think if you feel like you look good you can wear whatever you want. Dressing conservatively at work is best though, you don't want any office gossip just because you dress sexy.
The low rise jeans that show thongs are a no-no now that's what I read in a fashion magazine. I hope this helps. Have Fun!

Ok, let me get this straight...you're 45, probably damn near (or maybe already!) a grandmother, and you're dressing like this... OK, eeew. Yes, that's correct..eeew. I suppose you have long flowing hair that you keep up in a cute little pony tail with a bow, too, right? Your behavior and the way you dress are disgusting. You're a grown woman, hopefully mature, and you're not setting a very good example for younger girls who may see you. If your boyfriend enjoys looking at your body, that's wonderful...but let him do it in the privacy of your bedroom. You say "other men"...what other men? If you're dressing like this and prancing around on the street to show off to complete strangers, then honey...you have more problems than just what type of clothing to wear...
And, by the way, what are you doing calling him your "bf"? Are you 45 or 12? You're 45? OK, then act like it.
It always amazes me when I see middle aged women trying to remain youthful by dressing and acting like their children. There's a time and a place for everything. You had your youth...time to move on. I think older women (who let themselves age gracefully) are most times stunning... It's when I see these women who have obviously dyed, way too long hair, wear tight jeans and who act 20 years younger than they should be...well, it's just sad. Sad and pathetic that so many people are so scared of growing "old". I plan on aging gracefully...getting silver hair and wrinkles and age spots and whatever else it is that God has intended for me...

Wear what you want. Maybe your female friends are jealous. If you want to "show off" as you put it and the male side of the equation indicates your doing that, then don't change just because some other person says your too old. I've several times seen women in their 40's that if I didn't know how old they were, I would have sworn were no older than 30. So age don't matter.

You can dress sexy and still not dress slutty. Dress to compliment yourself. You dont have to dress like an 80 year old! But, you should show that you are a mature tasteful woman and remember to dress appropriately. You get much more respect that way. Guys will give you attention no matter what. The question is would you rather be looked at like a sexy educated woman, or an easy tacky one?

I don't really think anyone, regardless of age, should show off their underpants, however, if you have a great body, you should definitely show it off. I would say wear only one "showy" piece at a time...just to be respectful of yourself and your age-which you should be proud of since obviously, you still look good. Age is only what you make it, and it includes acquired wisdom. You shouldn't want to look like a slutty, immature teenager, you should want to look like a hot, worldly-wise, woman. So, yeah, flaunt what ya got...just do it respectfully, a little at a time. And choose good quality materials, that's always a sign of sophistication.

One is never too old to wear jeans. If they are tight fine, just don't look distasteful. The fitting tops should be done in a tasteful manner as well. You represent you..... as you leave your home, don't give wrong impressions of yourself. So enjoy your 40's.

It's great that you have a good figure. You should wear clothes that look good, make you feel good, and which are appropriate for where you are going, both in destination and in life goals.
These other men you speak of, though, are they encouraging you to also write that book you've been wanting to write, or take that class you always wanted to take, or traveling to that country you always wanted to see? I'd be skeptical of their approval. There's something in it for them to see all parts of your body. Are they flaunting what they have? Not usually.

ti's not wrong to show off that u have a good body, i just think that the way you're going about doing that is a bit inappropriate. your jeans don't have do be skin tight to look good. there are other ways to dress when you're 45 that look better on you than if you're 16. tight jeans are for teens.

If u got it show it. I'm 30 and wear tight jeans all the time. People tell me it's not appropriate but I don't care. I wear what I want to if people don't like it too bad for them.
