If you want to go to a major city travelzoo.com often has nice deals. Yahoo travel is pretty good cause they have a feature on myYahoo pages that allows you to put almost any domestic trip in and has the best prices for that trip, then once you click on it you have certain restrictions, but I went to NYC from really cheap tickets I found on there once. There there are kayak.com and mobissimo.com for flights. Hotwire.com is great for hotels and airline tickets. I dont think I would buy any hotel room without trying priceline.com first. Also, cheaptickets.com is expensive for flights but awesome for hotels. Good luck.

I would imagine that would depend on the type of travel you're talking about, what your Travel budget is, and when you want to go. Of course, the definition of "travel bargain" is subjective, only because travellers for the most part have their ideas of what a "travel bargain" is.
One site you may want to try is TRAVEL WITH STEPHEN. They have a comprehensive website that has a huge inventory of Travel products that are very competitively priced. They also have a toll-free number for any questions that you may have or if you want to customize your travel. They're worth a shot.

I like www.travelzoo.com They have a weekly list of the top 20 travel barbains for the week. It is especially good if you are flexible because many of the best bargains are on a last minute basis. They always have US and international bargains. Sign up for their weekly email.

Travelocity.com is my all-around favorite- consistently good. Some of the other sites like travelzoo do better at last minute options or specials and I might check an airline directly occasionally.
