You have several reasons that could be making you tired everyday... all day. First when is the last time you have gone to the dr.? Maybe its time to have a check up? You could have a number of medical problems that cause tiredness to the degree you have.
Have you had any major stress in your life lately to cause you to sleep all the time? Its our bodies naturally thing to put us to sleep when the stress is to much for us to handle...which we normally have depression. That can be treated with medication or sometimes just going to talk to a counselor.
I know I need to lose some weight and in the past when I did I did have more energy... And sometimes it’s not even a weight issue as much as just some exercise! Its amazing what a little exercise does... as much as I hate to admit that..lol;)
Do you have any pains, headaches, any other symptoms with it? Do you feel like your sick all the time? I have Fibromyalgia which is a disease that causes major muscle and joint pains with extreme tiredness. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is also something very similar to it but it makes the person feel like that can never get enough sleep ... they are ALWAYS tired and never have energy.
So I suggest: see a dr. , list your concerns with him and tell him how long your problems going on. Just see someone you could have a depression to chronic fatigue syndrome. It could be something easily fixed or something that needs to be treated properly. Keep a journal of what you eat, exercise, and how you feel until you go. That way you and him can see what you are doing and how its causes such tiredness. You will make it.. I know from personally experience it’s so hard to keep going being so tired but please go to the dr. someone can help you.
If you every need someone to talk to .. just email me sometime.

I used to feel tired most of the time, and gradually became almost 50 lbs overweight. I started Weight Watchers two weeks ago, and now have much more energy. Started feeling better and sleeping better after the first week, I think because of the required five fruits/veggies a day, also two glasses of nonfat or 1% milk daily. I also cut out most wine, still have two glasses twice a week, but used to drink 4-5 days out of 7. I have a bike and treadmill at home, so no excuse for not doing at least 30 minutes a day. I watch TV or read to relieve the boredom.
So, your tiredness could very well be diet related, and/or: thyroid function, anemia, internal loss of blood, vitamin and mineral dificiency - so you really should talk to your doctor. Simple bloodwork can tell a lot about the condition of your body.

You may be lacking Vitamin B in your diet. Vitamin B will give you that boost you need during the day. Also, keep your bedtime the same and the time you get up everyday the same. This way your body will adjust and "know" when it's time to sleep. Caffeine will prevent you from falling asleep sooner than not ingesting caffeine. Caffeine also prevents you from reaching that deep sleep experts say we all need which will make you have that tired feeling during the day.

A clogged colon can make us tired, so can a defective thyroid, so can too much sugar, or too much trans fat etc. there is so much more!
I go through the same thing.... BUT, when I exercise good everyday, drink a ton of water, and clean out my colon (lots of fruits veggies and fiber)...I feel sooooo much better!

i was told that sugar has a lot to do with how tired some of us feel. try cutting down on your sugar intake. even stuff like banana's, and carrots. it can make you tired and sluggish during the day. how's your iron intake? if it's low that can also be a huge factor in lack of energy and fatigue. good luck.
