I had to put my cat on a diet. My vet said he was WAY over what he needed to weigh to be healthy. He's gone from 22 lbs. to 15. He's 16 yrs. old and I want to do all I can to keep him around as long as I can. He's my baby. lol

Cats vary in weight depending on breed and how much they eat (which I HOPE would be obvious).

I have 2 cats....1 weighs 11 lbs and the other did weigh 22 lbs, but has lost 10 lbs because he was diagnosed with diabetes. He's now on a very special diet from the vet.

Don't overfeed or give table scraps to your pet...it isn't healthy.

I got a 5 year old cat tabby he weighs 17 pounds but he should weigh 12, my female cat is 4.5 years old, siamese mix she is 14 pounds but should be 8 pounds and my baby Bushy also 4.5 years old, he is 15 pounds but should be 12. Oh well!! they weigh as much as they want to.

My kitty Buster weighs 22 pounds and is 14 years old. He's a champion eater and holds down the couch!

It depends on what breed, the age,the food they eat and how much.If given table scraps will weigh more. How active they are also. So mine is 3 and a half approximately and weighs 7lbs. She is strictly in door cat because where I live.I'm happy because that's how most people loose their pets,is outside.

Depends on the cat. I have kittens who are about 5 months old, one weighs 4.7 lbs one weighs 8.1. (They're 2 weeks apart in age, but the bigger one will always be bigger even once they stop growing!)

Depends on how fat or how skinny. Around 8 pounds normally but my one cat is skinny and is 7 pounds, my other is fat and weighs 14 pounds.
