"Feeling" is a biological function resulting from senses of a living organ. Once that organ ceases to function, the "Feeling" diminishes. DEAD, is a term used to describe a state of no longer having the biological activity to sustain life. A DEAD Human feels nothing. Now, if you are asking if there are spiritual feelings after death occurs . . . I can not give you any firm answer, only an opinion . . . I have never met a dead person who was able to provide me with first hand information on that. But there are many books on the subject, none of which provide any substantial proof. This is more "Faith Based" belief in the form of reward or punishment . . . like what we offer our children while we raise them. . "Behave and I will buy you a present, Misbehave and you will be Punished". "God loves you but he will condemn you to hell for all eternity if you do not obey his commands" so if you were bad, when you die, you will suffer for eternity . . . which I assure you is a way long, long time. In this case, Dead would feel like hell.

On the other hand, if you were good when you die, God will reward you with pleasantries (depending on which God we are talking about).

My "Theory" is this. . .when you are approaching death . . . seconds (or even milliseconds) before that definite moment, everyone develops a conscience, and in their last moments. . .they are forced to live with it, they know that it is too late to change anything . . . and this conscience will either form a smile and bring you peace. . .or disappointment . . .in either case. . .this feeling will last you for the rest of your life.

Unfortunately, unless you are at that point you will never know. I have been in 2 serious accidents which I should not have walked away from...first one I saw my father-in-law in between me and the boys father...I believe he saved us. The second one well.. I suppose it was just not time to go. I do know of a person who told me of his experience once... he said he saw bright lights...he also saw something else but, would not say because he always started crying when he got to that part. Unfortunately he was killed Jan 30, 2005 by a guy raising hell on a snowmobile. Do not worry about what it is like...have fun while you can....life is once...when it is your time you will know...just go with the flow. Sometimes I wonder myself but, I just have to say I will know when it is my time.

You are free from the confines of your body. It doesn't get much better than that. However, if you commit suicide, you get cycled right back into life and have to go through the same crap all over again. I'll wait for my natural time, thank you very much.
