Well, I'd go as far to say that a big mac is not bad for you. It has lots of protein and veggies like the meat, cheese, tomatoe, lettuce, onions, and the mayo has no carbs. Only the bun would be "bad" for you really- so it's ok. It's the french fries that have the cholosteral and can clog your arteries- ecspeically if you don't exercise, but they are sooooooooooooooo good!!! If you want to eat more healthy, order a grilled chicken ceaser salad, or a soup, milk to drink? They do have healthy options.

Back in my bachelor days, I'd eat McDonald's about once a day, sometimes up to three times a day. Seriously. I am thin. I was one of those people who couldn't gain weight. After about 3 years of McDonald's abuse, I started to get ill. My belly became very bloated and hard, while the rest of me stayed the same. I got these incredible pains which I mistook for back pain. I would have spasms after eating. After going to the doctor a few times it was discovered that I had a gall stone. Luckily, I passed it on my own without having to have surgery. In the end, it messed up my metabolism. The smell of it now makes me sick, when it used to be my favorite thing to eat.

McDonald's food is full of saturated fat, sodium and processed sugars, three food components that are harmful to the body. An excess of these makes you susceptible to diseases. So if you consume this or any other fast food once or twice a month, it should be okay. But more than that is pretty dangerous. I suggest you watch the move "Supersize Me" for further information.

triglycerides, fats, and sugar, the same things that are bad everywhere else you go, so mcdonalds is not specifically worse than fast food in general.

McD's was just the victim of a bogus documentary (supersize me) made by the husband of a vegan restaurant owner. it is persuasive if you are undereducated, but any critical thinker can see a thousand holes in that movie's unscientific methods, which would be laughable if you didn't know that a lot of idiots were falling for it and believing what they were seeing as scientific.

The burgers are very high in both fats and sugar thus high in calories. The combination of fries soft drink and a burger make people easily susceptible to weight gain. Even so a occasional treat never hurt anybody but not recommended regularly.

it's bad for you when you eat there 3 times a day and order supersized french fries and big macs.... if you use variety and moderation even McDonalds can offer healthy foods! (salads with light dressing, juices, yogurt)

mc and all fast food are bad only because the fat content is high and beef clogs arteries in time and white flour buns make bad fat on your body and mayo is 100 cals one teaspoon and cheese clogs arteries and fires are the worst grease is one of the major culprits of death in america and salt, so get a salad, baked p or somthing that is good for you
